Eastern North Carolina has some of the highest stroke death rates in the nation. That’s why we’re taking stroke head on. At Lenoir Memorial Neurology, we’re developing a comprehensive stroke program that will truly revolutionize prevention, treatment and follow-up care for stroke patients in our community. Along with improved resources and protocols, our talented physicians are now aided by advanced technologies including telestroke, a diagnostic tool that remotely connects our care team with expert neurologists 24/7/365.

During a stroke, 2 million brain cells die every minute. Our increased ability to provide fast and effective treatment for our patients will help minimize stroke damage and complications.
